A new baseball god

One of baseball's most-beloved ambassadors died a couple of days ago, and since Buck O'Neil (1911-1996) is now a baseball god, it is fitting for baseball gods to honor him in this space. Buck was an outstanding player in the Negro Leagues, the first black coach in Major League Baseball, and an untiring champion of the Negro Leagues.
